ROTARY CLUB OF BONGAIGAON – MONTHLY REPORT (MARCH: WATER & SANITATION MONTH) During March, Rotary Club of Bongaigaon actively observed Water & Sanitation Month through impactful service and awareness initiatives. The club identified nearby schools and communities lacking safe drinking water and sanitation facilities and planned suitable interventions. Awareness programs on hygiene and handwashing were conducted among students and local residents to promote healthy practices. Cleanliness drives were organized with active participation of members and volunteers, improving local surroundings and encouraging community responsibility. The club also emphasized water conservation through awareness sessions highlighting efficient use and rainwater harvesting. Discussions with community leaders focused on sanitation usage and behavioral change. Overall, the activities enhanced awareness, improved hygiene practices, and reflected Rotary’s commitment to “Service Above Self.”
