Overview

February is observed in Rotary as Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention Month. During the month, the Rotary Club of Bongaigaon highlighted the importance of peace, harmony, and mutual understanding within the community. The club conducted its regular weekly meetings where members discussed Rotary’s role in promoting peace and preventing conflicts through dialogue, cooperation, and humanitarian service. Members emphasized the need to promote tolerance, respect, and unity among people from different backgrounds. The club also stressed the importance of guiding youth toward values of peace, goodwill, and responsible citizenship. Fellowship among members remained strong and meaningful discussions were held regarding future service initiatives aligned with Rotary’s areas of focus.
